You were 0 for 2 on vista features. I checked in Vista Business SP2
re: Turning Off Windows 7’s Mouse-Maximumization of the Active Windows
The option you have pictured simply does not exist in my installation.
re: Switching Between Windows the Easy Way – when I saw the tip I said “Cool!” and tried it. No joy, I tried both Win Keys, I know some features distinguish between left and right keys.
Oh well, better luck next time.
Very interesting – it may be a limitation in the Business version.
The person with the original Switching Between Windows problem – who was ecstatic to get the answer – was running Vista Ultimate x64, 8 Gb, so we know it works with some versions. In fact, if you reread the message – he had accidentally triggered the windows switcher and wanted to know how to do it again.
Of course, if you’re running Vista, you should upgrade to Windows 7 for the fixes. Plus, it’s reported to be faster than Vista on the same hardware, while slower than XP on the same hardware.
