    Hi Terry,

    I had a similar situation. While updating definitions manually, Vipre reported an error and subsequent attempts failed. I had a copy of the full definition file, about a week old, but I had Vipre update from that, then updated normally. Essentially doing the same thing but a much faster fix for those on dial-up, ~50MB, probably two and a half hours. Assuming they can download the full package elsewhere every once in a while.
