RE: Apple’s new ipad is a loser
You are soooo right!! You did not mention the worst of it. Because of Apple publishers now want to charge $15.00 for an ebook as opposed to Amazon’s $9.99. Read “Macmillan books pulled from Amazon” – Reuters.
“According to statistics released by the International Digital Publishing Forum, wholesale revenue from e-book sales in the United States almost tripled in the third quarter of 2009 to $46.5 million from $13.9 million in the same period in 2008.”
Publishers are getting greedy. I was thinking about buying an Amazon Kindle but if Amazon is not going to be able to keep the price of an ebook to $9.99 I will not by buying the Kindle or any ebook reader. I will not pay $15.00 for an ebook period!

Apple’s New iPad is a Loser
Your not the only one. Of course I could not see all the fuss over the iPod. To younger users it might be convenient to have a week’s worth (and maybe more) of music in a devise you can slip in your pocket, but to me it is nothing more than a MP3 player with a slick interface. So what if it can get online and download more music. I will save the bucks and rip my own CD’s. If I loose the MP3 player, I still have the music.
Because of the hype, the iPad will sell well to those who want the latest-greatest. It is a little big to carry around though.
