Terry, The “IPhone” discussion reminded me again that I’m a dinosaur. Several guys here have IPhones and seem to spend most of their time downloading “apps” or updating the phone to get it to do things my “old” motorola does naturally. When I questioned them as to why they want all that grief they told me that old guys just don’t understand. Well, they’re right. I like things simple and uncomplicated. Why would I want to buy something that required me to subscribe to another service to get it to work?

Hi Terry, a little while back (ahem), when a 5-1/4 in. floppy would stick the remedy of last resort would be to open the disk and a blank disk and transfer the medium to the new package, tape it up, and copy the contents to a new disk. I’ve never tried opening a 3-1/2 in. disk, but it’s worth a try. Worst case, you’ve out a blank disk.
