Re. Thunderbird Plus Firefox Crash Problems. It’s the original David here! I haven’t got very far with the suggestions due to lack of time at the moment. Just not enough hours in the day! If it’s any clue at all, the last time the crash happened, Thunderbird was already up and running, but not actually doing anything and when I clicked on the Firefox icon (NOT on a link in an e-mail) to bring it up independently, instant crash again. Very odd. Even happening every now and again after upgrading FF to the latest and greatest. I`ve checked manually for updates to add-ons in both programs, which I suspect may have a bearing on the problem but no further forward at the moment.
Some libraries do now offer wireless access to the public without a card. Here in Las Vegas we can go to any library and hook up wirelessly but of course there is the legal agreement you have to agree to before you can connect but for free wireless unless you are going to do spamming or something illegal it should not bother you to much to agree and get free access. They do limit it to 25KB download of files though so everyone can get a chance to have access but I have not seen any other slowdown or limitation on it and I use their access at least once a month.
