    Hi Terry,

Have you tried using the Microsoft Windows 7 computer evaluation tool and if so how stable is it? How does windows 7 Professional compare with XP Pro as to what’s included?

    Thank You

I must have forgotten to write that part – yes, I used the Windows 7 computer evaluation tool on my Dell Inspiron 8600. The computer passed except for the driver for my dialup modem — I can’t think of the last time I used THAT.

I just made a full backup with Acronis True Image Home 2009 ( http://terryscomputertips.com/Acronis ) after I sent today’s newsletters, and I’m ready to install Windows 7 in a spare, empty partition.
