I'm impressed that you're doing it daily. I'm using True Image to back up my notebook (my primary computer) to another on my network. Just recently, I finally set up its scheduler so that I create a new incremental backup every Wednesday night. All I have to do is to remember not to shut the notebook down that night. I have also tried syncback which is free and I still prefer Karen's replicator. The best practice is to image in my opinion and I use Acronis True Image for that.
