Hi Terry,
Couldn’t resist writing what with all these Outlook 2003 and 2007 error situations. I use 2007 and when I click the red X to close before shutting down computer for the night it always brings up dialogue box saying Microsoft Outlook has stopped working. I am using Vista by the way and it says it can check for solution or restart!!
I just X out that too. Next time I open Outlook it says A data file did not close properly and is bbeing checked for problems. I went to Options, Mail Setup, Data Files and there are only 2 and one is Archive.pst in C\Bev\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook. Other is Personal Outlook.pst in C\Users\Bev\AppData\Microsoft\Outlook. I clicked on Archive then Open Folder and listed is last sharing.xml.obi,archive,extend.dat,Outlook, & Outlook.sharing.xml.obi again. So that is what I found. I think Outlook 2003 & 2007 have ghost error problems. I wanted to share this with you since I saw what you were helping others with and dthat this might shed some light somewhere. Thanks. Sorry to bombard you with all that stuff.
