* A Look Inside Secunia Software Inspector
I’ve found a great tool that examines my computer to make sure that
it has the latest updates of the most common software packages —
not all the updates, but the security updates for the versions I’m
runninng.
* Updates Last Week
I watch a few operating systems and programs for updates — mainly because these are the ones that I use or in which I am interested. What updates or versions were new last week?
* My Computer Security Software Recommendations
Want to know which Antivirus program I recommend? Which firewall program? Which Antispyware program? Which Antispam? Or, which router for your home network?

Hello Terry. I would like to give you a warning about installing Secunia Software Inspector Personal. I tried this program, and while I did like it, upon uninstalling it I noticed that PSIS.exe was still running in my processes. I used Revo Uninstaller to get rid of it, and yet this process continued to run. Since I couldn’t find it using any start up manager, I went into Services to locate the offending executable, and I came across a new process called Protexis Licensing. I had to disable it there as I couldn’t find a program that would delete it. I also noticed upon googling Protexis Licensing that they are considered malware/trojan peddlers. Just a nickel’s worth of free advice. I also want to add that I enjoy your newsletter. Thank you for your time.
