      For re-booting, I use “BootSafe” by SuperAdBlocker.com. It’s free, runs from an Icon on your desktop, and gives you choice of:

      Normal
      Safe – minimal boot
      Safe – with networking
      Safe – Active Directory

      Very convenient!

      Re “Adware ties into Internet Explorer”

      I use Firefox instead of IE but have the same problem. Any tips on how to remove “not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.BHO.cr” when using Firefox?
