Terry, enjoyed this weeks newsletter. Had a comment on two items. You switching back to FoxitReader. Great program, but have you seen or tried PDF-xchange Viewer (free) at http://www.pdfxviewer.com? Little larger download but well worth it. Does as much if not more that Foxit. Even uses tabs, and when you use the typewriter you can save the document and it doesn’t put a watermark on it like Foxit does. Like Foxit, its fast, but I like the typewriter feature better in this one.
Also, the privacy software you talked about sounded real nice. Have you also tried “IE Privacy Keeper”(free). It works on all browers. Seems to have about the same feathers as the one you have. Been using this one for better than a year.
Thanks again for a very informative newsletter.

Since You’ve solicited comments about reader’s experiences with the Safari-3 ßeta browser I’ll chime in with my (limited)experience, too: Ho-hum! There. My problem (lack of enthusiasm) is that I’m unintentionally comparing it, in my mind, with my current preferred browser - ENIGMA. It really has it all for me; but, like you and I guess most readers like to sample new offerings to see if there is a better mouse trap. Safari is fast, but then I’m still quite impressed with the blazing speeds I see with my ENIGMA. Here are the three (3) main features that I like in a browser: 1. speed (naturally) 2. small size, and 3. different skins available… OH, I forgot an important fourth: 4. a readily available icon button to zoom web print size (fonts) and images. Tabs and a 1-click history erase are all additionally nice features, too. Well, those are my preferences, and my impression of the Safari ßeta browser. Thank you. Dane
