Regarding “Forwarding a Picture Using Email” - Note that my answers are based on my default email program being Thunderbird 1.5.0.10.
There seem to be two issues here. Right-clicking on a picture (or any) file and selecting send to, email recipient does not create or involve a .eml file, but opens a compose-mail window with the selected file pre-attached.
And .eml files are not supported only by Outlook; T’bird creates them and, if you set the .eml file type to open with T’bird, displays them when double-clicked.
BTW, I’m starting to use this feature to move long-term-keep emails to an HD directory and reduce the size of my growing T’bird mail file.
Cheers … - Dan
