You reader experiencing the problem of multiple email messages may not have a problem at all.

I&#039;ve seen this happen when there is a problem with the email server itself, AND the email client is set to keep a copy of the email on the server.

You might suggest they check their settings and disable &quot;Leave a copy of messages on the server&quot;. It&#039;s usually under Advanced settings.
