I use MWSnap for screen captures… It produces a .bmp of whole or part of the screen as you choose and is free…. j

I used PrintScreen 2000 for a year or so but have since moved to FastStone Capture.

I won’t go into details, but I like it better and it’s current software and free as well.

Thanks for the Firefox article. what do you think of the Firefox screen that pops up asking you to download an upgrade?

Re. your item about print-screen, I`ve been using a freebie called Gadwin PrintScreen, http://www.gadwin.com , for ages and very happy with it. It, too, gives a choice of area and formats to capture.
