you might remember me… had the problem with default email settings…. wanted it to be gmail, but windows wouldn’t permit it… well gmail email notifier does permit it and i think gtalk does as well.
i had stopped using gtalk about the time i wrote you. that may have been why i kept getting outlook for default (or hotmail)… i downloaded the notifier and it worked…
not why i’m writing about this time though… you and others keep saying firefox 2 is a good idea… well, take it from me it is not a good choice! i tried the beta and it fell apart and i went back to 1.5.0.7 and all was good again.
then i tried the final release version and it fell apart as well, losing buttons, functions, more and more as the days went on… sooooo… i got rid of it and went back to 1.5.0.8 and it works like a dream… it’s somewhere between .7 and 2.0…
i don’t think 2.0 will be a viable product until they start the beta of 3.0….lol
