Neighborhood Inkjet Refillers

Back in January, I posted about a rumor that Walgreens stores would have inkjet refill kiosks added to them.

Looks like that rumor was true, but it took a while for our town.

Yesterday, I saw the sign at one of the local Walgreens stores that they now refill inkjet cartridges for about half price.

Yea!

That”s good news for many users who don”t want to refill the cartridges themselves.

Personally, I”ve got an easy-to-use kit for black and a similar kit for color. BUT, my one attempt at color was a fiasco. The “yes, this is for the HP 970″ color refill package wasn”t the bright yellow it should have been. It was a dull, “country yellow.”

So, I”ll refill my black cartridges, but I”ll buy new color cartridges.

“User Friendly” comic strip

There”s a funny, daily web comic that I enjoy called User Friendly.

The characters work at a small, mythical Internet Service Provider, so we get a lot of tech support humor. Of course, news in the computer world is always fair game…

Today”s strip is no exception…

Check it out the September 21st comic here
