XP Repair Pro Review

I”m getting a lot of visitors to my review of XP Repair Pro 2006.

It”s amazing how many people are looking to solve Windows problems, many of which are Windows Registry issues.

XP Repair Pro 2006 is the latest issue of XP Repair Pro, and it comes with a license to use XP Repair Pro 2.5 also — which works on Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Even better, for personal and non-profit use, one license covers all your computers. That”s right, you don”t have to buy a separate license for every one of your home computers. What a nice change…

Read my XP Repair Pro 2006 review — or go ahead and download it or buy it!

XP Repair Pro will scan your computer for free — and show you what it finds — but requires a license in order to do the repairs. If you like it, please click here to purchase XP Repair Pro 2006 and 2.5!

It”s major competition is Error Nuker. Similarly, here is my affiliate link to purchase Error Nuker.

While cross-checking my Terry”s Computer Tips Computer Tips index page and comparing it to all the article files on my web site, I found a bunch of articles weren”t listed.

Even though the web pages were on the site, no one could find them unless they had other links. (My newsletter subscribers did!)

These are a few of the web pages that were still hidden:

Remote Access the Secure Way

Ever been at home and needed a file from your work computer? Or at work, and needed the file from home?

There”s a great service that is designed to let you access your computer remotely — and securely — from any other site. You get full control of your PC, just as if you were sitting there.

The service is called GoToMyPC. Version 5 was just released and it is up to 2 times faster!

For a small monthly fee, will be able to access your computer remotely from any other computer using a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc).

Of course, one of the important features is security. GoToMyPC operates on a dual-password system and one of the passwords is on your remote computer. In other words, you log into GoToMyPC and then you log into your computer as another step.

Who will this program help? Salesmen who travel, people who “take their work home at night,” tech support people, network support people and everyday people who travel.

GoToMyPC is offered from Citrix, who also offer a related program designed for Internet meetings called GoToMeeting. GoToMeeting allows up to 10 people to participate in a voice and presentation meeting over the Internet, at a very inexpensive rate. Of course, there is a Corporate version, too, which allows up to 250 people to participate.
